seriesly need hood pin to hold cf bonet ar?aiyak...sayang la wanna tebuk my cf hood.but if didnt put,fly off during high speed...haha. how come can fly off bro? the holding fixture snap off from the hood ar?

yes dude. seriously.
its either u sayang your tiny space of CF to be drilled for hood pin or or sayang your whole CF hood not to be flown and gets totaled when driving. choose.

two of my friends:

1. S15 spec R. CF hood flown off at 150km/h. 100% hood cannot be used anymore, sunroof shattered, lucky windscreen still intact. bought other CF hood but this time, installed hood pin.

2. satria GTI. CF hood flown at cruising hiway speed, 110km/h. hood flown, windscreen intact, roof dented badly. luckily his CF hood can be repaired because not badly dented, BUT he lost the wonderful awesome 3d look of CF. which means..he has to paint his CF hood flat black.

bare in my mind that two of my friends above are very meticulous upon rectifying their hood safety each and every time the car starts moving. easier to say that, they always check their hood 100% shut or not.

having extra precaution and being vigilant is always good.

mADmAN - have you repaired your CF?

I used to crack the CF lip on my STI and so has my friend in his M5. We both had ours repaired in USJ 1, workshop named SPS run by a guy called Mike - 0122956250. Can't confirm he can fix your damage but he did ours and it still has the CF finish so you don't need to change color.

No worries. In fact, my GTR is at his shop as we speak. I send my other cars there as well even the rest of my family does too. Many of the Skyline guys also send their cars there. He's got a good reputation and was highly recommended to me by the guys at Hypertune some years back and have never gone anywhere else since. His prices are reasonable and his workers are efficient.

EDIT - Note that the extent of damage depends on how repairable it is. Later you bring him a bonnet cut in 7 pieces then scold me because cannot fix hahahah. If cracked, scratched etc usually he's been able to do for me so far.
