Called the GT3 RSR, its predecessor is renowned for winning several races, among them being the legendary Le Mans 24 hour races at both France and Spa in Belgium as well as overall victory in the grueling Nurburgring 24 hours in Germany.</p><p></p><p><img src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/uploads/cash/Porsche/GT3%20RSR/Pors911_R_5.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></p><p></p><p>The current 911 GT3 RSR has gained many modifications but is essentially designed for competition in the GT2 class of international long-distance racing. The front end of the GT3 RSR is among the most distinguishing feature of the new GT3 RSR and has received major improvements to the aerodynamics. Modifications to the slippery parts include a new range of suspension set-up options and a new sequential six-speed gearbox which by the way, is much lighter than its very capable predecessor.</p><p></p><p><img src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/uploads/cash/Porsche/GT3%20RSR/Pors911_R_4.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></p><p></p><p>The GT3 RSR retains its predecessors 3.8 liter flat-six cylinder boxer engine and remains unchanged apart from slight improvements.
