What's the limit set I don't know. This means that there is a particular limit of downloading using peer-to-peer methods (kazaa, bitorrent, emule, etc). All I know is that using any of the peer-to-peer methods is now reduced (downloading via normal web download is not affected and so is using FTP also not affected) and it suppose to be a test run where Streamyx would set a limit from 7pm to 7am and if successful, they would continue on with the cap limit. This is to reduce the night time downloads and reduce the line usage at night. My friend was affected and saw that his normal download speed via bittorrent was slowed down and never go above 10kbps. Sometimes only 1kbps. So my question is "does anyone here knows what's really going on?". It came out in The Star's InTech but can't recall the date.
