However the suspension points were way off the correct angle when utilising the original crossmember. So the engine is going to be pushed in back and that requires the firewall to be cut. With the current mod, the gbox bellhousing can be seen from the cabin. A custom firewall will be implemented later once the engine mountings have been secured. The suspension also tilts about 20 degrees to the front. An alternative would have been to utilise the Corolla original crossmember holding the RE but that would not able the utilising of the FC power steering, and suspension system along with the entire lower assembly. Also since the gbox is reallllllllly long compared to a Corolla, currently the gear shift stick is at the hand brake position. So some custom work will be done to fit a new gear stick by cutting and welding a new shaft at the opening ontop of the gbox which incidently is the original location for Corolla. With this setup I wont have to make another hole on the chasis for the gear stick and weld another customised shaft extending to the back for gear changing. Also saves the hand brake from being relocated. One concern now is will the dashboard fit nicely with alot of the engine being 'inside' the car already...tune in for the next episode...hehe</blockquote>

anybody ever try the turbosmart plumback blow off valve...??

the description i read is it kick back the boost into the engine if im not mistaken and produce no sound......if it is true then iit be perfect for my car...
