A few more welding point was add up to standard GTi chassis, to make it stiffer for R3 version...different exhaust system - donno how to explain this, but GTi got twin tailpipes, R3 one only...the extractor oso different.braking system - solid discs all round for GTi, R3 with cross-drilled discs paired w high performance mintex brake pads..pedals - GTi using aluminium pedals w GTi emblem on it, R3 also aluminium, but kosong one...engine, piston sizs, conrod, air intake, air filter should be the same...but R3 has the upgraded performance parts, i.e extractor, high cams etc ready to bolt on - plug and play...soundproof/insulation was removed from R3 - a part from its lightening process...in other words, R3 is the stiffer and noisier version of GTi...which u can take on straight to the track from the showroom...whateva silap/kurang, hope u guys cud add on...sekian. terima kasih.</blockquote>
