Ok, first, hp is torque x rpm. Basically, more torque means more power. But since engine doesn't operate at one rpm and instead over a range of rpm, you get different torque at different levels. But basically, at any rpm, the more torque you have, the more hp you will get. The hp (bhp or whp) figures, it depends on which dyno you go. Dyno Dynamics will net you the lowest figure in terms of figures compared to DynoJet. Dastek Dyno (RS Dynotune) give power in bhp. But the most important think is not which one is accurate or better, just don't try to compare dynos from different dynos. The figures from dynos are the numbers in WOT, where you slam your accelerator pedal to the max and get the torque and hp curve. Your figures is quite linear really, and can be broken into two parts. Without even you telling others what your car is, one can know its either a MIVEC or a VTEC. ---------- Post added at 07:18 AM ---------- 6 hour anti-bump limit - Previous post was at 07:11 AM ---------- I get it now. My mech told me that if I use a suitable camshaft I should get a more linear torque curve. He also said with a hi cam, the VTEC pull won't be so obvious as compared to now. I remember him saying something like this. - What your mech says is correct. VTEC gives you the hard pull because there is huge characteristic difference from the different cam profiles. When you change cams, the profiles different between the low and hi cam might not be as obvious, so you don't feel it is pulling as hard but it is really pulling harder. Imagine this, if you sit on a friend's car driving at constant 140 km/hr, you don't feel fast.
