It is not as some people believe a 1.3 body. A standard Satria shell be it 1.3 /1.6 /1.5/ 1.8 are actually all the same. The Satria R3 shell however comes double spot welded. This increases torsional rigidity. Meaning the shell is stiffer, making it a better platform for the suspension to work from. Now when your car is light it's response is enhanced because it accelerates & brakes better than a walllowing fatty.And when it's a stiffer & lighter (not to mention a bit more powerful than the avrage GTi) that's when you get the R3's " Brutal Performance".Comprende?</blockquote>
