Bro veloc Now i understand how turbo works. Although the rpm is 3500 - 4000, the built up pressure in he turbine is a low boost around 0.2 bar. The boost will pick if we continue to floor the gas. With the low boost built it is safe to cruise at high speed. Even i came across reading in evom, the boost also have some kind of cut off to release the over pressure. When evofans told about my ix is low boost, i search and found out, that boost level will be different avcording the gear used. The stock boost is 1.38 bar. But the low gear is around 1.1 bar and high gear will be at 1.38 and drop to 1.2. How about you guys? I confuse a bit. But should the boost be the same for all time?according to evom.net, it might be it is tuned to remove the boost limiter. Please correct me if i understood in wrongly. ---------- Post added at 10:37 PM ---------- 6 hour anti-bump limit - Previous post was at 10:34 PM ---------- Please click here for the discussion http://http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-engine-turbo-drivetrain/196900-stock-evo-ix-mr-boost-questions.html But my ix if i look at my gauge correctly all the way is around 1.1 - 1.2 bar only, should i set the controller to 1.38bar? ---------- Post added at 10:40 PM ---------- 6 hour anti-bump limit - Previous post was at 10:37 PM ---------- Good question bro. What is the safe oil temp? Bro r11 what is your boost for gear 1 - 6? All same ? 1.38bar?
