Colleague took out his jumper cable to jump start got tak sound only. Then call me if I can help. new tyre in front or rear?

I'm curious.

I did some search and it seems there's a mix of information.

In the western, they are putting the new tyres at rear.
Reason being is they believe new tyres on the rear axle help the driver more easily...
