Personally and no offense but in my very own point of view, I think that is but a load of crap. Make love and have sex both involves getting erotic physically. Which means, touch here and there, get naked, lick, suck and whatever else. The difference is whether there is the feeling of love while doing it or not.

I could kiss, touch, lick, suck and intercourse 50 different girls. All this 50 girls, I don't have the feeling of love. Thus, I'm having sex with them.
The 51st girl, I kiss, touch, lick, suck and intercourse with her, the same way with the first 50 girls but this time, I love her. So it's called making love?

Being open minded is one thing but when the basic principles start vanishing, there'll be no foundation for a "proper" life or thinking.
