Zeneger Old 1990 model...15 years already. To own BMW, you must in love with it...so what ever ppl said...you'll ignored. Same things applied to console gamers...you'll loyal to PS2 even there's more powerful XBOX. So first thing is...is you in love with BMW ? why you love it ? have you read the history of BMW ? In my case, why i love BMW is - the motorsports history ( DTM,BTCC,ALMS) - the dashboard facing the driver, like a pilot on 4 wheeler - the 6 potter engine sensation ( redlining to 7k and change gear like there's no tomorrow ) - the balance for cornering( 50-50 weight balance ) - the chassis built quality ( motorsports proven ) - RWD ( the most important ) For E36,I reccomend you to buy this model 1. E36 318iS ( more grunt for 4 potters ) 2. E36 325i M ( manual less headache and get a manual for more driving experience ) 318iS also selling at 61k back in Johor, so you actually get even better deal. For 325i you'll got proven M50 6 cylinder engine iron block( the one that can stand with 800hp ) . It's quite hard to find a manual, well auto will do the job. Maintenance.....this one will be the ultimate test for you. Euro is edgeing over USD ,so the price for parts for continental cars will be higher. You'll either choose used parts ( from Hakitrade or else )...or keep with original parts from AB. It's your money...so decide carefully on parts. After buying the car, prepare to spend at least 5-8k for wear and tear parts like - clutch - engine top overhaul/full overhaul - longshafts - suspension, bushings, shocks - air conditioning - interior refurbishment For my case, I use my UDM just for motorsports outing , so I don't care much about interior/exterior looks...so I spent my money to suspension, exhaust, engine, quality lubes, deep deish wheels..and off course low profiles tires. My 3rd car prolly BMW E36 2.5 or a souped A31 Cefiro ...well time will tells
