Computer forced to shutdown via NTauthority malfunction.</p><p>2. Your command prompt (cmd.exe) & task manager (taskmgr.exe) is un-useable. It will automatically closed once you try to start the application.</p><p>3. You are unable to suft the internet using any type of browsers.</p><p>4. Your network connection to the internet stays connected and data is transferring. However, you are unable to ping other internet sites or computer outside your own network.</p><p></p><p><u>solution:</u></p><p>unplug your modem/router.</p><p>install windows o/s with latest service packs.</p><p>install McAfee antivirus with latest patch.</p><p>turn on firewall.</p><p>plug back your modem/router</p><p>configure it</p><p>finally and hopefully all goes well.</p><p></p><p>This doesn't effect computers which is already protected by the latest antivirus programs and updated with service pack 2 (windows xp pro)</p><p></p><p></p><p>Hope this information helps.</p></blockquote><p></p>
