Hey Sifus,

Wanted to ask bout my 1993 Wira 1.5 Engine (Carburator). So the engine is 14 years old already and i think dying. Im not planing to change engine coz the car too old already. My friend quoted me to do General Overhaul for it.
RM 1200 (G.Overhaul Gasket, Piston Ring, Main&Con Bearing,Skim Head, Grind valve) or RM 1600 (G.Overhaul Gasket, Oversized Piston Ring, Oversized Main&Con Bearing, Skim Head, Cut Block, Grind valve).

The RM 1600 will increase the CC and fuel he said. So you guys think i should go for the bigger piston or standard piston? Rm 400 diff.

And he also said Skim?/Grind? the Flywheel to make it fast repsond = fast but not good for hiking.

And advise?

Thanking you in advance.

if u r looking for dat lil bit moe power, than going 4 d bigger piston is d way to go...if it is a flat-top piston, even better as u can get a bit more compression...dun worry bout fuel consumption...it wont be so noticeable, plus with the added ponies a bit u may be able to save a bit of fuel as u r now able to alter ur driving style...(like maybe downshifting less, upshifting earlier, dat kinda thing)

if u wan ur engine just to be as gud as new, then a normal general overhaul is enuff...

if u wanna skim d flywheel, dun skim too much (i cant remember how much)...it will affect drivability a bit...

Ok Ok thx you:) I think i go for the bigger piston =)

Where to get LightWeight Crank Pulley for my wira engine? 1.5 4g15? anyone?
Got effect or not?

no problem...

auto genesis at seri kembangan has it...mythelogy crank pulley with rubber damper at rm 550 for this month's promo...weight is around 1.3 kgs compared to stock which is around 2.4 kgs....many positive reviews...check this link >>> http://www.4gtuners.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=7007

another one would be the lightened crank pulley sold by ftzone, i think...rm 250-300 i think...this one oso has positive reviews...altho..it does not come with rubber dampers..

theoretically, u wud need rubber dampers to absorb vibrations caused by the crank n stuff....without d dampers, long term effect wud be shorter life for the parts...but dunnolah...wait till they really show me screwed up parts caused by an undampened pulley then i'll 100% believe it...

haha im not a seller, orait? just helping out fella enthusiast

hmmm... my flywheel jus skim and lighten it yesterday... the stock one is 6.5kg and now mine is 5.3kg... the respond is ok... bout the drivability is ok... = )
