wtf thats so cun i want it ... if like thats reco nm clarion cd damn cun .. how much ... :p

promotion tactic for people to get savvy then modify it...hehehe..

That is the Savvy they should have launched. Not the tin can we see in showrooms now. Kudos to the R3 team, they didn't have the best platform in the world (to be polite) to work on, and made the most of it. Black does hide a lot of the dodgy detailing though, so I'd reserved judgement until they actually make it.

nice what... not bad.. but tin milo also la..

anyway the interior looks like made from DUREX :D

gen2 is old model, savvy is upgraded... super durable if not how can be tahan lasak! :D

FYI, the Savvy shell ain't no "tin Milo" as you uninitiated like to call it. The shell is stiff in bending stiffness and torsional stiffness. Simply put it's stronger than many cars out there.

Fact is the Savvy is one the best platform R3 has worked with, bodyshell-wise. Black is the colour chosen not because it " hides a lotta dodgy detailing" but because black is the signature colour of all R3 Limited Edition Vehicles (LEV)

Fact not Fiction, Nor Hearsay

You can think that most people criticising the Savvy are idiots (or unitiated - call it what you like) and dismiss their opinions, but the fact is (not hearsay) that most of your consumers (people who will buy the car) are these idiots.

Mate, I know R3 cars are black by default. I'm just saying that black hides a lot of dodgy detailing. And all this doesn't change the fact that IMHO, the Savvy is an ugly tin can of a car (and by that I don't refer to its supposed strength).

Funny that, I know most, if not all, of the Satria R3 owners and idiots they sure ain't ( well 99% of them, there's always exceptions)

My comments were targeted to those who can't back up their posting with proper facts. Smarter people put their money where their mouth is. I'm more bothered by these people who diss things without making proper comparisons or without seeing things with an open mind.

I know, I know it's a forum and everyone is entitled to their opinions, humble or otherwise. It's just that constructive comments ( like your earlier post) are a heck alot better than mindless criticism.

Car Designs, ugly or beautiful, is as the saying goes " in the eye of the beholder". Take Angelina Jolie for example, some guys dig her but some prefer Paris Hilton. Me, i'll take em both.

Mate, I know it hurts when people criticise your work, especially when you've put a lot of effort into it. But because it is a product, and there for all to see, you are obviously open for criticism (negative or otherwise). We are talking potential buyers not just the people who actually bought an R3. And yes there will be biased opinions and people who have no clue what the hell they are talking about. Plus R3 isn't exactly flying under the best of banners (P...R...O...T...O...N).

And I still stick by my opinion that the R3 version (or a Gti version of somekind) should have been the Savvy that they launched, since it appears to me that Proton is trying to cater to the more enthusiatic drivers, shall we say. So, why not just make it sporty in the first place. It would have taken advantage of the tough body shell and the proclaimed LOTUS handling to a tee. If that is what had happened, and the R3 Savvy is the ones in the showroom, then I'd have nothing to bitch about, apart from the still dodgy design. But then, like you've pointed out so well, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, just that I think you are getting carried away there. Angelina and Paris are hot by anyones standard (although you may not like them, but thats not the point).

Criticism is fine by me (negative or otherwise) as long as it ain't baseless.

Launching, making and selling and out & out performance variant may seem good, exciting what-have-you, but the majority would still prefer to buy the bread and butter version. Hot versions aren't everyones cup of tea. But it creates the desired halo effect. Witness what the Focus RS does for the Focus range, or the M3/5 to the rest of the Bavarian cars.

And I personally think Angelina rules. ha ha

design wise ok... just that not durable.. i wanted to buy a new wira but ended up buying a 10 year old toyota because i found it is much more worth.
