Toyota AE100 or Honda EG

Hi all, got another question here. Which of these two is better in:

reliability(frequency of servicing),

FC,

& maintenance(cost),

Some ppl told me that the AE 100 is a very reliable car. Perhaps the Toyota drivers here can have the answers. Of course EG is more powerful than AE if both run at original condition.

if compared eg and ae101 for sure eg is a more powerful car but in terms of reliabililty and parts price the toyota definately is better value for money but the car look a bit uncle compared to eg la for sure ... hahahaah .. but then ahhh u go post in toyota forum ask toyota or eg better sure all ppl said toyota laaa .. then you go post honda forum ask which better sure they will said honda laaa .. hahahahaha .. how ??

funny, i'm now in toyota forum and some ask me to get EG. To me, toyota seg 100 or 101 doesn't look that bad. Mayb my taste is a bit low... but i saw some with simple skirting and tint makes the car looks good already. provided the car has to be clean. because both car is rather old.. just wana get a less problem one( i mean less consume my $$) cause i'm acctually waiting for our country to follow the AFTA rules and no taxes for car in near future. So just thinking of getting a car that can last me another 7-6 years perhaps? I do like EG very much but scare the car need a lot of maintenance.. some more honda's parts are more expensive.

The best solution is to just test drive both cars at standard specs...

that way easier for u to know each and every characteristics of the car...
including pros and cons that it has man...

choosing a car is just like choosing a wife... hahahha... choose wisely...

RM600 for an engine block.... what can be better
not saying that the H goods aren't good but just wanna say the cost is expensive... a fully modified 4AGE fcut may cost around 3k~5k, but a Honda.... emmmm

yup i do agree wif brother G.... this car is really superb especially the X100 Chaser...

practically it comes with 1JZGTE - Turbo version...but in japan some of them put in a 2jzgte engine...

sadly tak masuk malaysia... only a few people are using it in malaysia... furthermore wif the so called "AFTA" which to me is all talk no action... lagi la susah mau import the car...

unless u go overseas and study or work and bring it back...:sad_smile:
