MEGA EXPENSIVE dude! especially for a turbine that's 2nd hand and something that u urself aren't too sure of the brand! agree with the others rather u go for the Garrett bb turbos la. but then again ur situation's complicated rite with the turbo owner owing u shit etc... but bottom line RM3K damn high for that turbo dude.

too much i think..

just for a turbine that you dont even know what brand and how its perform..

no offence bro, just my stupid opinion..

got to agree with with ohers la... 3k is blardy expensive for a 2nd hand unit... :(

the turbine wheel look the same as gt35r... stage V with t3 housing, but the compressor wheel seem to come from a TO4S family...... wow a/r .70 housing.... yummy

this turbo will do good if the supporting mode and tunning is properly done...
don't blame the turbo if the car feel sloopy... tune....

...or better u start thinking about your future by putting some RM3K for a house downpayment or buying shares..Stop playing with car la cz it's a never ending story/problem..Only my 69 cents dude..I also playing with Turbo but definitely that RM3K you can even buy a VR4 halfcut you know..Stop being bluffffffing by your fren..

Can you let us some dimensions like compressor housing inlet, compressor housing outlet, compressor wheel diameter (minor/major)..etc just to name a few.

The compressor housing is very likely a garrett unit, can't tell the backside.:)

To be honest with you, it looks so much like a locally matched turbocharger with parts taken off from hitachi excavators but hell they do work(in my friend's cars).

Unless your friend can prove something else more convincing, try go for a low deal(ie RM2000.00+/- for this one...or even RM1,500.00..hehe:)

i think that is a t3/t04e garret turbine. at Tong Turbo you can get one of those for RM1600 brand new. the compressor housing without the wording and chromed will cost you around RM400 (a bit chit-chat with Tong will cut of maybe RM 50 bucks....just maybe)

fitting in a big turbine need a damn lot of work. need to upgrade the fueling system like bigger fuel pump, injectors, ecu, etc, etc, etc. you must also upgrade your cooling system like changing the i/c, the i/c piping, oil cooler, etc, etc, etc. and a very proper tuning must be done or your engine will go KABOOM.

plus, you must remember, bigger turbine will effect your low end power cause it will spool a bit late. for t3/t04e tubine, the spooling starts at 3200 to 3500 rpm and you will reach full boost at 4000 rpm. but the mid range and top end power will increase. that is if the turbine does not b.bearing equipped.

just giving my opinion cause i`m using a t3/t04e turbine right now. do ask any turbo sifus out there for a better advice. btw, RM3000 for a second hand non b.bearing turbine is too expensive. for that range you can get a better b.bearing turbine.
