Working in this social community abt few years now, Looking for Change a newcar for my own hardWork
currently i am driving 2000 year Proton Wira Sedan.

I very much like the toyota cars, bcos it durable and fuel-efficient
A new Vios J Spec i Seem a rebate of 68k ~, the profit of 3% and Free a years insurance ~
On a regular downpayment i put 30k for 7 years installment, almost Rm500 + per month

3% of profits will too low? For an imported car

In addition to toyota car, on a regular basis put 30k, what kind of car can i have, beside toyota,
and
Toyota Vois 2nd hand, worthy to purchase it, what is the Market prices now?

brother me for the first time purchase car, your greatly advise will be appeciated

PS: one of my friends told me that,he friend just brought a Toyota Basic Spec, just only 60k
Manual,is that real?can i get around cheap price with a new toyota car?

:banghead::banghead:

hi there bro, well im not very well verse with all the calculations you mentioned in your post.

but just want to share with u that the toyota vios is quite a nice car to drive as its quite fuel efficient. im currently driving one myself, but is an auto. so if u're getting a manual, should be even better.

cheers!

Agreed with Chang, vios is very nice car now i'm drive vios j and actually can't compared to my previous car (also proton). So go get it

guys,i have do a survey between

The Neo CPS costs 57,763.
Toyota Vios J (Manual) at RM69,825
Suzuki Swift costs 73,788.00

Vios J has no airbag, manual adjustment of side mirror, basic cd player (no mp3), no audio controls on steering, rear seats cannot be folded, drum brakes.

Neo CPS - dual airbags, electric remote control of side mirrors, mp3 player, audio controls on steering, rear seats fold in 60:40, disk brakes, 16" alloy sport rims, continental tyres, leather seats, door knobs, gear knob and steering.

Please guys. Give me a debate

Yeah rite....An auto with a turbo....

Btw,thread starter,if u wan change ur car, better u test drive those cars that u've mentioned...Pick the one that suites you...

PS:I think Satria Neo is a little bit small compared to the vios n swift n also it is a two door car...

u come ask toyota forum, of course any die hard toyota fan here will ask u to take vios la...
same if u go proton forum ask the same question, they most probably will ask u take neo lor..

but based on what u put above, u already made your decision to chose NEO, right?
cos u put negative feedback on vios... ... in this case, just go for the NEO lor..
somemore cheaper.

p/s: If me, i'll get a better quality 2nd hand car as now all new car (sub RM100k) QC sucks....

The airbags are useless on cars that cant pass EuroNCAP, the passenger cabin would crush you anyway.
With vios you get:

Toyota's reliable engine may work all the way to 400K KM without any overhauling, my father's camry 2003 is there already (his busy schedule ,service every 10K KM with mineral oil)
CPS is a new tech for proton, remember how many problematic engines there were when proton introduced their campro?
No weird problems that cant be solved
It may outrun the neo in acceleration
Better fuel consumption
Bad thing about proton plastics are the paint fades very fast if you keep touching them, my friend's gen 2 and waja audio control and fog light buttons all faded away.

And how many times do you need to adjust the side mirror to need to use the electrical function? Its a bonus if its there but you can do well without it after all cars for the past 30 years do not have them

Last point is to tell proton to buck up, since they don't do their work properly and people are still buying them they wont care, but if they lose so much sales they will start to investigate where they went wrong.

Up to you really, its your money, if you mind is keen on neo then take it.

Yes i agree with Chang say, I also newly change from Wira to vios J manual MY comment is
ride quality is better then wira main thinks is toyota provide a best package in the market exp. low interest rate, service center provide nice place for customer to wait their car i think some time is better looking then car showroom...

if u plan to sell off and upgrade car value is alot better then any car beside honda...

Swift test drive before and a friend of mine having too he complain is parts is very expensive for his 1.5 auto he say the gear box respond is abit slow

my first 2 cars was proton, then later chg to toyota (since 8 yrs ago), until now I only favours toyota.
and then i got 2 colleagues had really bad experience with neo...
i can only tell u.. "you pay what u get"
if u pay rm1, be expect to get rm1 worth of goods....
hv a nice day

bro,...tk d vios...im driving a vios auto....no probs so far...except with ron95...but then again it cld b due 2 fuel quality in my place...other than that, x probs............cnt comment on the neo cps...bt interior headroom cld b a prob if u r tall....test drive the swift....heard sm -ve comments frm ppl such as higher fc compared 2 vios....expensive parts...

I didnt really test drive all of the cars above.. but have sat in them before....

My comments is:
Satria Neo: not too bad... nice headroom, quite comfortable... manual spec is quite powerful.. only thing is bodyroll quite bad....
Satria Neo CPS: whoever designed the seats is a total IDIOT... the seat is so bloody high up my head is already touching the headliner...
Vios J-spec: quality of interior is better then Satria Neo and Neo CPS... as of all 4 door cars, space is quite ok... FC for manual is apparently lower then auto... if you can control your right leg that is... :p
Suzuki Swift: for a almost compact car, its not too bad... handling etc is quite good as my friend has one... but FC abit high...

as for me, i would try not to get a proton car.... my dad's waja had problems from the first day he bought it... and untill now... like 4 yrs later... the problem is not really solved by proton... change this change that.... still got sound coming from engine@gearbox....

hello there vios club member...hehehe

hello everyone, nice to see you all here! :)

nice to see every one here...hehe

looking back our local auto maker progress and korean car maker ... very big different ...
back days when saga was launch the and korean car maker launching their model both built quality about the same ... then when looking now korean car maker produce much better built quality from Exterior to Interior and function is very big gap different ... when proton going to be on par with korean?

its kinda difficult to compare with korean car makers... this is due to the fact that some of these car makers have very high financial backing... eg hyundai which is one of the biggest ship maker... etc....

i agree korean got biggest ship maker back them up even our local also not bad too got GOV back up too till now...

back to main story... easy what is go test drive ... then calculate which is best to go with ur budget...

still not yet,

am trying for used car with Honda City &Toyota Vios instead going for new one
Budget around 45k-50k
Year 2005 and above, tip top Good Condition

Color preferrance = Black

downpayment :25k-30k
will be loan 25k(depend on the price)

any bad feedback of getting toyota 2nd hand car?
geeez
