I'd received this PM from a new member called Yawn. Could anyone address his issues as I am totally clueless in this matter.Thanks.

Hey man, im a fellow skyline enthusiast but the problem is my bnr32 is in melbourne. Im a Malaysian but currently studying there. When i finish studying i plan on bringing my car back to join you guys thru the Student AP ive heard about.

How exactly does it work? What are the conditions that I have to fulfil in order to qualify for it? Ive heard heaps of stuff about it but only thru word of mouth. Im looking for a black and white list of conditions that i have to fulfil. Ive tried checking the MITI website but I cant find anything.

I was hoping that one of you Malaysia Skyline Club members have done this before or have information regarding this matter. I dont want to finish my course and then be informed that because i didnt fulfil one condition i have to leave my car there
http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/images/smilies/MSN%20SMILIES/confused_smile.gif. The latest thing I have heard is that I have to have a comprehensive insurance for a minimum of 3 yrs. The problem is, Australia has this 3rd party only insurance which im currently insured with. It only covers other parties i damage or hit but not myself. Its really bothering me and I hope some of you guys can help.

Btw if your wondering why I cant post this on the forum and ask others, its because it says i have insufficient privileges to post, which I have no idea why because I can log in and everything. Haha anyway thanks in advance for any help!

Cheers
Mike

Seriously speaking, i imported my car from Brisbane two years ago..... Like Yawn said, he oni got third party insurance, this sounds a bit worried, but can you can have a go with MITI, becos third party insurance could be good enuff to proof you own the car for more than 9 months requirements......

I employed a transporter to help me, fast and hassle free, provided you had finished paying your taxes be4 the car arrives.....

just about to help u post it here.. looks like its being done
cheers
