Haven't watch it yet in full. I was just scrolling thru from beginning till the end to see what's in it. Ah.. well, the MOST significant change is.. Tim Lovegay is gone.. muahaha!!

Highlights:

1. Audi R8
2. Brabus Rocket (souped-up CLS).. lol wat a name
3. New Fiat Panda vs. Ferrari 360
4. Kia Cee'd

As usual, a few bla blahs regarding some other informative/auto related stuff

ok, fingers crossed, lets hope this season dosent suck like season 10, at least be as good as season 9.

downloading, will report if its watchable or waste of bandwith.

Watched it.

Tiff + Audi R8 = Badass.

How the hell did he drive that fast, round such a tight track. (emm, not exactly a track but...) Tiff must be the greatest hero ever.

BTW, I loved the Fiat Panda 100HP. I just have a thing for small, nimble, agile cars which punch above their weight.

seriously i dont know what impresses me more, the Rockets ability to brake from 180mph without rear ending the car infront considering its weight or its endless acceleration.

1st time watching the R8 moving in clear quality video, totally impressed. the in car camera of Tiff sweeping thru the curves looks unreal. looks wise its refreshing, compared to the Porsche and Lambo styling which we have been used to see. not to mention the most beautiful rims ive seen in an exotic for awhile.

as for the Panda segment, its just nice to see woman who can actualy drive. oh the handbrake turns. me likey

finally Toms section is just classic him. no complaints. camera kakis would drool to the bazookas used by the paparatzi.

looks like we have a season9 quality folks. hopefully this is a sign for more quality episodes to come.

Judging by the quality of the first episode, this season looks promising. But then, losing Lovegay is already a massive improvement by itself.

Now if only the Panda 100HP was sold here...

Ohh..i cant believe i am saying this..but thats was a great episode...
the moment they lose that lovejoy...all joy has come back to the show..

The R8..looks like a dream..and drives like one...the rocket was badass..

i am actually lookin forward to this season

didnt even notice lovegay. they should redo all the roadtests on cars featured in season 10. we should be watching this fine piece of automotive show right after season 9.

ohh..ya..
tobey mcguire..(is that rite?)...well who cares..i thought he was acting as a wimp in the movie..but he's a real wimp...
i am quite happy to save the planet by using a hybrid...i dont think he knows what a bentley was...actually i dont think he knew the difference between topgear and fifth gear...probably he thought the lower the gear..the lower the emissions..

Latest episode is here.

Fifth Gear - [11x02] - 2007 05 07 [RiVER] avi : TV Shows > Fifth Gear - Mininova

I've just watched it and it is good as well.

The Alfa Spider is achingly gorgeous. If only it had more dynamic talent. Until Alfa come up with a new car that drives as good as it looks, the current Spider is more a lover, not a fighter.

OMG, Tiff in the latest Civic Type R, versus a Power Ranger on a crotch rocket. Fantastic.

BTW, I feel compelled to mention that I so much more prefer the CTR that the Brits will get rather than the one the Japs have. It encapsulates what a hot hatch and a Civic Type R is all about, instead of that fatty that the Japs have.

Then there was the new Merc C Class. I kinda like the geeky nerdy way that Johnny used to present the car. Very appropriate I feel. The engineering and design details on that car is quite simply mind boggling.

Looks brilliant as well, miles better looking than the 3 series. Now just imagine this car, with AMG's 6.2 litre, 507bhp baby under the bonnet and some fine fettling to the chassis and suspension by Merc's resident nutters. Holy Cow! RS4s and M3s are for breakfast and lunch.

i was kinda suprised that tiff didnt give the standard intro for the CTR, instead gives his comments during the challenges. less talk more action, nice.

C class looks sweet, reminds me of the CLK DTM. yeah, way better looking then the beemer counterpart.

The boy had skillz on that crotch rocket...wooh...ahhaha....wasnt as good as the first episode...
the bike versus the type R and that 3million quid jag were the only parts i enjoyed...the Merc part was cool..and finally the C-class looks good...
And yes..i wonder what AMG and Brabus would do to that C class..a definite competitor to the M3 and Rs4..like u guyz said...

Vikki's part was boring...

download the vid if you want a 10sec glimpse of hawt model titty. other then that it has some hard truth for the people who thinks that the car used in the roundezvous video is a 275GTB.

what a waste...other than the first one...this one was a snooze fest...really shitty episode...
Tom..lexus was cool..but those toys were on the S class as well..
wiki..i have no idea what the point was...they could have just shown the original 10 minutes..it would have been way better...
the guy in the smart...i dont like them ..so that was useless...
Tiff:..ahh..wtf was that...seriously..its like they have run of of ideas again??

Throwing chicken at windshields???

Yalar.. they just can't stop copying TG.

The review of new smartfortwo = Review of Audi A8 4.2L turbocharged by JC using "24" theme + Review of Smart ForFour by Hamster and Capt. Slow (24 hours challenge)

if not because of the car giveaway, I bet there won't be a single Briton will watch this 5th gayer

Apart from the hot hatches, the rest of this is rubbish. 5th Gear goes back to being shit after a promising start.
