buy seg ae111 or altis???

After selling my car, im patah kaki
after dreaming day n night i dont know what to choose
my family want me to have altis (not the new one)
abit like org tua plak......
I myself want to play with 20v
after reading altis engine swap aiyya add another headace
altis also can convert to 2zzge
So what car to choose...?
(some my EK friend also cucuk-ADOI)

go for altis 1.6 lower spec...ha ha ha if plan wanna play the engine (convert)...but izzit worth...that is the question...or buy ae111 year 2000 & play with 4age...
to who wanna play 2zzge..better check cause this engine got few issues...

Altis is everyday daily ride car. comfort, good fc and power city driving power. but if you're looking for performance, then altis is not for you. Im not sure how bad is 1.6l altis but alot plp telling me underpower. Im driving 1.8l altis now and i cant even catch up with some modded carb saga. whahahhahaha...

i do have both altis 1.8 and seg 1.8 and i can tell u both give very diff driving experince.

my previous experience with altis is my friend buy altis
he not doing any mod on the car so the ride is jinjang
last time sebat corner there is many wobbling at the end
really want to have big car but also want to mod also....hehe
If refer to altis tread, there is some idea to mod: SC or 2zzge
Yes sifu said there is some issue on the engine conversian
but will it be solved in maybe 1 year after this.....?
maybe some sifu will convert into 2zzge VVTL-i (yummy)
then it will be great project since "other makes" has k20abcdefg
dont want play H because the price is nonsance

the wobbly can be easily solve by lowered with good spring and rear antiroll bar. As for power, want clean job is SC or actually light turbo charge is easibly can be done

there is problem with 2zzge that are the "lift" didn't on
there is this bolt that patah in the engine
this can be solve with changing the skru with harder one:hmmmm:
that is when i surf the net.........
other than that, what halfcut that do drop in our country that can
be use to rape "other makes"....???:hmmmm:
COST.... also an issue but still must be murah compare to k20abcdefg
ae111 is the best car to drop blacktop (N/A-of course)
it is the best selection to give hard time to "other makes"

to rape other car, i think mivec & vtec is still prefered cos performance parts are widely available...(sorry and no offend to toyotarian especially 20valver, i'm not here to promote any technology, but i think myself also being tapau too many times by those above.... )
for altis, to mod, like nappx said, is it worth it ? h/cut of 2zzge also not many can be found,
and of the issue of the lift-bolt, it won't hurt ur engine internally, but u lost performance due to inproper cam shift, BUT that is only in the earlier batch of 2zzge, i think toyota refined the parts

Buy year 1999 or 2000 camry auto.

but since last time u bawak vtec, once u sit on 20v, u sure will puik y 20v so shit...sigh!

Jinjang means tinggi....alittle bit high can put 4 finger inside
maybe i dont have experience in hantam 20v at high speed
so i cannot compare 20v with "other makes"

if maintence part....i think better choose SEG .........just like the front bumper or head light...
if have any accident, u can looking at chop shop if driver SEG, but Altis ....just buy new one...or make from taiwan item

if power, altis 1.6 is under power , but altis 1.8 road tax mahal....
if 1.6 original SEG....cukup makan.....upgrade 4A-GE is powerful

Sad to say I was once addicted to VTEC. But tekan redline all the time, engine pon kaboom.. Gasket pecah.
Main Toyota, press redline no problem.
Old toyota car Toyota = long life, low maintenance

previously i was using seg ae101 with BT20V and now swap to Altis 2001 1.6cc
Altis (Pro)
Good FC (RM70=600km ~ Rm1.80/litre)
Comfort
New Tech

Altis (Contra)
Floating feel drive fast
Maintenance is expensive
A lot of cost if wan do modification
Not for sport drive style.

My opinion (if wan toyota)better go for ae111 if wan sporty drive style and if wan comfort and family style then stick on Altis.... Agree with bro whfan, if wan fast, go for VTEC (EK or ES)
